3D scanning of a chimney

We performed a 3D scan of the chimney. The resulting point cloud provides accurate data on dimensions, tilt (inclination), and technical condition.

3D scanning of buildings and structures is useful for documenting and determining:

• the actual volume of a building, in case of planned reconstruction, demolition, or renovation;

• the historical appearance of a building, if conservation or restoration is planned;

• calculations of construction work volumes.
